This Privacy Policy explains how Moku Mobile Mechanics LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.mokumobilemechanics.com, request a quote, contact dispatch, or use our mobile mechanic services.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you submit through a form, phone call, text, or email, such as name, phone number, email, company, service location, truck details, unit number, and service needs.
- Service details needed to quote, dispatch, repair, invoice, and document work, such as symptoms, dash codes, VIN, mileage, photos, parts, billing method, and fleet authorization.
- Website usage data collected through analytics and site-connector tools, such as pages viewed, referring URLs, device type, approximate location, and campaign attribution.
2. How we use information
- To respond to quote, dispatch, and contact requests.
- To schedule, perform, document, and invoice mobile service.
- To send service confirmations, arrival updates, follow-ups, and replies to your questions.
- To support fleet onboarding, vendor approval, account billing, and service documentation.
- To improve the Site, advertising, service areas, and operations.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
3. SMS and text messaging
When you check the SMS box on our quote or contact form, text us first, or otherwise give express consent when booking, you agree to receive service-related SMS messages from Moku Mobile Mechanics at the mobile number you provide. Our messaging program is for U.S. mobile numbers and supports our mobile mechanic service area in Nebraska, western Iowa, and nearby corridors we agree to service.
- Types of messages. Quote replies, dispatch coordination, scheduling, confirmations, arrival updates, repair follow-ups, and replies to your questions. Promotional texts are sent only if you separately opt in to promotional texts.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to SMS messages to request a quote or book service.
- Message frequency. Frequency varies based on your request, dispatch status, and service activity.
- Rates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt out. Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages. We may send one confirmation and then stop messaging that number unless you start a new request.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or call (402) 798-4847.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information or text-messaging consent is shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The phone number and SMS consent you provide are used only to operate the messaging program described above. We may share your number with messaging vendors solely to deliver messages on our behalf, and they may not use it for any other purpose.
4. Service providers we use
We share limited information with vendors who help us run the Site, dispatch workflow, analytics, lead intake, hosting, communications, payment, and fleet documentation. These providers are authorized to use information only to perform services for us. We do not sell personal information.
5. Analytics and attribution
We use analytics and site-connector tools to understand which pages, ads, and service-area searches lead to calls or quote requests. This may include campaign parameters, click identifiers, page paths, approximate geography, device information, and call-click events. We use this to improve marketing and operations, not to sell personal information.
6. How long we keep information
Quote and service records are kept as long as reasonably needed for dispatch, invoicing, tax, fleet, warranty, compliance, and business record purposes. Marketing opt-in records are kept until you opt out or ask us to update them, subject to legal recordkeeping needs.
7. Your choices
- Email opt-out. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us. Transactional service messages may still be sent.
- Text-message opt-out. Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages or HELP for help.
- Access or correction. You may ask us to confirm, correct, or delete information we hold about you, subject to legal, warranty, billing, safety, and fleet documentation requirements.
8. Children
The Site is intended for adults arranging commercial truck service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on the Site.
