I-80 corridor

24/7 mobile diesel repair along Interstate 80.

I-80 is the freight artery of the central United States and the corridor we run most. When a Class 8 truck goes down between the Missouri River and Grand Island, every minute on the shoulder costs revenue. Moku Mobile Mechanics dispatches from Lincoln — the geographic midpoint of eastern Nebraska's I-80 — with a fully stocked diesel service truck staffed 24/7. We respond to breakdowns, blown tires, DEF and emissions faults, DPF regen failures, no-start conditions after layover, and APU failures along the entire eastern Nebraska I-80 corridor.

Common I-80 calls we handle

Blown drive or trailer tire at highway speed

Most common single call on the corridor. We carry standard commercial sizes — 11R22.5, 295/75R22.5, 285/75R24.5 — for drive, steer, and trailer positions.

DEF system fault causing derate

DEF doser failure, NOx sensor fault, or SCR efficiency code drops a truck into 5-MPH limp mode. We diagnose and repair on the shoulder — no deletes, EPA-compliant.

Engine no-start after layover

Frequent call at TA Lincoln, Sapp Bros, and Love's. Usually batteries, starter, or fuel-system air ingress after a 10-hour rest. We carry test gear and common consumables.

DPF regen failure with derate

Forced regen on-site when active regen has failed. If the DPF is loaded past regen recovery we coordinate removal and ceramic cleaning.

APU failure during sleeper rest

Thermo King and Carrier ComfortPro diagnostics. AC and heat restored on-site where parts are stocked.
