Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.mokumobilemechanics.com (the "Site") and the mobile diesel and heavy-duty truck repair services provided by Moku Mobile Mechanics LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, requesting a quote, or booking service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide mobile diesel and heavy-duty truck service, including roadside breakdown repair, diagnostics, DPF/DEF/aftertreatment service, brake and air work, trailer repair, tire service, DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, lockout, jump-start, and related fleet services. The exact scope of any job is described in the quote, dispatch notes, invoice, or work order for that call.
2. Quotes and estimates
Website, text, and phone estimates are based on the information you provide. Final pricing may change after diagnosis, travel distance, parts availability, site conditions, or the actual repair scope is confirmed. We will discuss material changes before proceeding.
3. Dispatch, scheduling, and cancellations
- Emergency dispatch is available 24/7, but response windows depend on technician availability, weather, traffic, road closures, parts, and distance from the dispatch hub.
- Scheduled work and fleet maintenance are confirmed by phone, text, email, or written work order.
- If our technician arrives and cannot access the truck, trailer, yard, driver, or authorized decision maker as arranged, a trip or service-call fee may apply.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate location details, including highway, mile marker, exit, truck stop, yard address, or GPS pin when available.
- Provide accurate truck details, including unit number, VIN, engine family, mileage, fault codes, symptoms, and fleet authorization when available.
- Keep the work area reasonably safe and disclose hazards such as traffic exposure, cargo restrictions, leaks, fire risk, or unsafe ground.
- Confirm payment authority before we dispatch or begin work.
5. Payment
Payment is due when the service is complete unless we have approved direct fleet billing or other written terms in advance. We may collect a dispatch fee, diagnostic fee, deposit, or parts prepayment before rolling or ordering parts. Late or unpaid balances may accrue reasonable collection costs and finance charges as permitted by law.
6. Compliance and safety
We do not delete, disable, bypass, or defeat emissions-control systems. Aftertreatment, DPF, DEF, SCR, EGR, and related repairs are performed toward factory-compliant operation. We may decline work that is unsafe, unlawful, outside our capability, or inconsistent with EPA, DOT, FMCSA, manufacturer, or fleet requirements.
7. Roadside limitations
Roadside repair is affected by traffic, lighting, weather, shoulder width, law-enforcement direction, parts availability, and the condition of the truck or trailer. Some repairs require towing, shop-based equipment, additional parts, or a follow-up visit. We will tell you when the safest or most economical option is not a roadside repair.
8. Parts, warranties, and workmanship
Parts warranties are governed by the part manufacturer or supplier. Our workmanship warranty applies to the work we performed and does not cover unrelated failures, pre-existing conditions, misuse, deferred maintenance, tampered emissions systems, or work performed by another party after our service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nebraska law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, downtime, cargo, revenue, or lost profit damages.
10. Photos and documentation
We may take photos, scan captures, part photos, mileage/VIN records, and other service documentation for diagnosis, billing, warranty, fleet reporting, training, and quality control. We will not publish identifying customer or fleet information for marketing without permission.
11. Communications and text messages
When you submit a quote or contact form, book a service, contact us, or give us your contact information, we may contact you about that request by phone, email, or similar service-related channels. SMS opt-in is collected separately through an unchecked checkbox on our quote or contact form, by you texting us first, or by your express verbal or written consent when booking. These Terms alone do not enroll you in marketing text messages.
Service-related SMS messages may include quote replies, dispatch coordination, appointment scheduling, confirmations, arrival updates, repair follow-ups, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Lancaster County, Nebraska, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
